If the COVID-19 pandemic hasn’t been hard enough for the poor across the world; winter only make things tougher for them and their families. The Raza Foundation constantly strives to reach out and help destitute families living across Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.
Feeding the hungry and vulnerable is indeed a great act of reward. While we can’t fix the economies of developing countries and the earnings of daily wage workers, in this difficult year of COVID-19, we can try to deliver some comfort by providing hot meals to those that would otherwise go hungry.
COVID-19 has had a drastic impact on the health and wealth of the poor and the destitute across the world. As the fear of a second and third wave continues to linger on countries like Pakistan; the poor continue to suffer. We at The Raza Foundation are working hard to provide all possible support to those who are affected.
Some of the most vulnerable are children; many orphaned and living on the streets. Through its affiliate organisation, Raza Islamia College, The Raza Foundation sponsors the religious and academic education of such children. This inevitably improves the prospects of better community integration and chances of a healthy and successful life.
